What is stored, how to get something corrected, and what this encyclopedia will not write about at all.

The refusal list

Medical advice: What is wrong with a person, what they should take, and whether they need a doctor are questions for a clinician. General information about a condition is not the same thing, and the line between them is exactly where a generated encyclopedia would drift. Legal advice: What the law says in general is knowledge; what you should do about your situation is advice, and it is jurisdiction-specific, fact-specific and consequential. Financial advice: Whether to buy, sell or hold anything is not something a corpus can responsibly answer, and being wrong costs the reader money directly. Claims about living people: A generated claim about a named living person is a defamation risk and a harm to somebody real, and no citation the pipeline can produce makes that acceptable. Anything defamatory: Including about organisations. An encyclopedia that publishes an unverified accusation has stopped being one.

Corrections

Report an error without an account. A correction that lands changes the article with its date visible; nothing is edited silently.

What is stored

Reading is anonymous. Requests, watches and contributions belong to the account that made them.

Accuracy

Every article names its sources and its review state so you can judge it. Where it is uncertain it says so. It is a reference work, not an authority, and the difference is on every page.
